Gray Catbird Morning

Last night's radar was rather unimpressive and did not indicate a huge flight of birds, but we were much busier than expected catching 151 birds of 19 different species (128 new, 23 recaptures).  More than 70% of our new birds (91 individuals) were Gray Catbirds, so I though this would be a good time to go back to the vault and resurrect an old blog post from 26 October 2013 which explains a few of the characteristics that we use to age Gray Catbirds.
